Everything is turning green!

Today Cory, Lacy, and I went on a hike down the Chandalar trail. We took 2 of the sled dogs, and we walked until we got to Slate Creek a few miles away. I started to notice all of the trees and plants; they are turning bright green and everything is getting more colorful. The weather has been getting pretty warm, and all of the snow is gone. All of the co-workers moved out into the tents today, so tonight will be my first night sleeping outside! The funny thing is, the inside of the tent is probably bigger than the room I have been staying in. Yesterday, a few of us went to the gravel pit about 3 miles up the road and did some target shooting with Will's gun. On the way to the pit, we saw 5 moose; they are starting to come out a lot more now. It's currently raining outside, so tonight seems like a good night to read and attempt to get some sleep (even though it's so much more fun to stay up and enjoy the 24 hour days!)
